I love Malene Birger for grown up clothes although I am usually confined to treating myself to them in the sales. The latest collection for autumn winter 09 has some interesting items seemly inspired by nature. The soft and natural shapes are contrasted by black for a really feminine but sophisticated look. I love the black skirt embellished with origami flower shapes, the high waisted skirt with a pleplum of delicate silk petals and the little black dress of my dreams (which I have just noticed has sold out in all but one size) with leather feather like pieces at the shoulders and hips.
