Busy And Boring

Just to explain the title of the post. Busy is me. September has been one of the busiest months of my life ever. Mainly with work but also lots of other stuff. I can't remember the last time I sat and watched TV or read a magazine. I can't complain, business is going great but this month I need to try and find more time for the stuff that I really enjoy like cuddles with the children, drinking wine with Mr Style Eyes and blogging (for my own blog). I have missed out on lots of stuff this month and I have especially missed visiting everyones blogs. This month, I am more organised and prepared and hope to do lots of catching up.

Boring is the outfit, just the sort of thing I might have worn to work when I worked in an office. I definitely think this outfit could do with much more colour and pattern or perhaps some texture. As I work from home I don't wear suits very often anymore. Yesterday I had a sudden urge to wear something a bit smarter than usual. The jacket is by Reiss but I got if from the local charity shop, the top Next and the trouser Autograph Weekend at Marks and Spencers. Being quite short I really struggle with trousers and really love this collection as they always fit just right. The necklace is from New Look, the shoes Marks and Spencers and the flower brooch from Dorothy Perkins. Oh and the handbag is from the same charity shop as the jacket.

Ideas on how to brighten this outfit up?
