Scarf Inspiration

I love scarves as they are such a great way to brighten up an outfit and a bit like wearing a piece of art but just occasionally I struggle for inspiration on how to wear them. Lately there seems to have been a lot of interest in different ways to wear scarves.

I have been getting plenty of inspiration from the J'aime Mon Carre site by Hermes. This week I also noticed it is 'The Scarf Fornight' at Liberty. 2 weeks of scarf obsession - just my cup of tea! It includes 'how to tie a scarf videos' and a blog with people posing in their favourite scarves from Liberty. They also have the most amazing selection of scarves which is enough to get me scrawling out my Christmas list.

My favourite look was using scarves to create an eclectic mix or pattern and colour which featured in quite a few pictures. My attempt at doing so using my second hand Liberty scarf bought from Vintage At Goodwood is pictured above. I love stripes as you can mix them with almost anything. I definitely need more scarves in my life, here are some of the babies that I have spotted lately,
