Sailing solo in the Indian Ocean, Robert Redford's yacht collides with an abandoned shipping container floating on the high seas. Despite his efforts to repair his craft, the resourceful sailor must face violent storms, circling sharks and dwindling supplies in an effort to survive.
To promote the forthcoming release of writer and director J.C. Chandor's tale of survival, the ArcLight Hollywood cinema had these original costumes and props featured in the movie on display on October 4, 2013.
Van Broughton Ramsey is Costume Designer on this nautical drama, responsible for dressing the prestigious actor for wet and dry weather conditions at sea.
